United - A team so divided

When Pete Molyneux held that banner in Dec of 1989 in a game against Palace, "3           YEARS OF EXCUSES AND IT'S STILL CRAP … TA RA FERGIE,"

Little did he know, that he was about to be proven wrong for next 22 years by some Alex Chapmen Ferguson.

The club was in shambles, performance was at all time low & players not performing as per their strength or manager's expectations.

But they had one thing which separates that period with the current one, A manager who had a vision & owners who stuck by him no matter what.

Both the club owners & manager loved the club for their footballing aspect, money always came second in those times.

SAF when pushed against players who he deemed not fit for his system, had balls enough to bring in academy players into first team (Class of 92)

like Alan Hansen said “You'll never win anything with kids”, he was right SAF didn't win anything with kids, but he won everything with kids

And SAF & United as club did pretty well to win all those amazing trophies, with so many mesmerizing players.

Fast forward to 2005, when a certain American businessmen took over Manchester United, Malcom Glazer

Little did we know, we we're in fact accepting vermin in form of owners, the drill down to milk the club started from day one.

Decisions were made in favour of glazers, and this started to show up on the quality of player signings were made for United & deterioration of infrastructure.

After SAF retired, it was all downhill for United,

Moyes, LVG, Jose & Ole came and sacked for same reason, performance not to the mark or not playing United Way

During those years when we played Russian roulette with managers, we ended up spending tons of money on players who did not fit the system, yet we bought them for monetary gains for the owners.

We had a phase when the entire fanbase of 6 PL teams came together to protest against the Super League & Owners, we felt there is a change which is brought in against greedy owners of these clubs.

But again, it was short lived, and yet we had a small protest of our own at United for a change.

Promises were made, plans were put in action on white paper, but we never saw light of day

We had a chance to strengthen our team in right areas, and many right options were available in transfer window, especially after finishing 2nd in league last season.

But we chose to bring in players with market value in terms of publicity & selling shirts, which would benefit the owners & sponsors

The price of not signing right players was borne by manager (Ole) & United as a club.

We have become more of business house than that of footballing one. we are one of the biggest clubs in the world on a paper.

But when we equate ourself with the style of play & on field performance, we have quickly become a midtable club.

I would like to highlight that not only the Owners or Manager is at fault here; players bear equal responsibility.

The attitude of certain players is appalling, the way they give up so easily is not the United Way, we have fought until 93rd minute to win CL, and we’re know for late comebacks or never give up attitude.

The sulk shoulders, the moaning & complaining, players not willing to play for the club but wants out, players agent consistently putting out intricate details, these are few of the mess United find themselves in.

Its high time we have to be ruthless and sell off this negative influence on the team, and bring in players who are suitable for the role and can deliver on pitch (even though they do not have big price tag).

I know the road ahead will be difficult and we have to brace for what’s about to come, but again there will be always a sunshine after dark night, but this night is going to be a long & dark one.

The Chaos at United

Chaos, Panic or Disarray... this is perfectly suited for situation what Manchester United find themselves now days, is it hype the media have created to sell stories or social media big accounts trying to churn in more followers & reach, no one knows the exact truth what's been said & done behind closed doors, yet we the fans jump to conclusion where we assume anything & everything that's been thrown around.

The new interim manager (Ralf Rangnick) has his own philosophies & ideas, on how the team should play or move forward, it takes time for players to shift their thought process & focus from one manager (Ole) to other (RR), there maybe confusion & need for clarification on how to implement something from board to pitch (tactically), but again the players are professionals & some will find a way to adapt the philosophy and while others will not be that lucky to survive the process, and might just face the axe for their attitude and willingness to leave

The only way these rumors & noise around this club can be drowned is by putting that deserved performance on the pitch, and giving fans what they've come to watch & making everyone believe that they're going to try and adapt to the new process and ideas what the manager is trying to instill, this will overshadow the kind of performance we've seen in recent times, where everyone has become increasingly concerned with the players either want want to give up or running around confused as to what needs to be done next.

The January transfer window is a critical phase, we can bring in a quality player(s) to fill in gap at Midfield and save the season while we can, OR find a way this season with existing players to make it tick to finish in Top 4 & qualify for CL, and then let the new manager bring his own set of players which can fit his system, its a tough call to take but Ralf Rangnick has to bite this bullet.

When the new year turned in I only had 2 wishes, one would be the safety of everyone from this pandemic, and another one was to bring back this club back to right track & greatness where it deserves
